With only a couple sprues worth of minis, you can play out the adventures of Robin Hood and his Merry Men vs The Sheriff of Nottingham and his soldiers.
Merry Men uses a simple d6 system - roll a target number to hit, target rolls likewise to defend.
Also; Alternating activation (no waiting around for phases to be done).
Game book includes a list of where to get Robin Hood minis (as well as sources of inspiration for your Robin Hood adventures).
